Klungo is Gruntildas first faithful minon. He is a green troll who can creates machines and other items to aid his mistress. Klungo uses poor grammar and usually uses the letter S too many times (Sssuch asss thisss sssentence).
In Banjo-Kazooie, Klungo's main role was to press a switch on a machine that Gruntilda made to make her pretty and Tooty ugly.
Klungo had a much bigger role in the sequel than in the previous game. Klungo is a boss three times, each time he uses various potions that he created to defeat Banjo and Kazooie. After each loss, Klungo gets a more and more beaten look because of Grunty beating him for his failures. After the last Klungo battle, he runs off, saying that Mrs. Klungo won't like him anymore because he gets constantly beaten and bruised. He then says that he would get a job in anything 'even making ssstupid video gamesss.'
In Grunty's Revenge, he creates Mecha-Grunty, which allows Gruntilda to transport her soul into it, leaving her body underneath the boulder. Klungo appears in four boss battles in this game. In every battle his potions once again get gradually stronger. His strongest potions summon Germuloids and Spookos to attack you. After Mecha-Grunty is defeated, Klungo continues to try to push the boulder off of Gruntilda.
In Nuts and Bolts, Klungo owns an arcade in Showdown Town by the pier. The only game in the arcade is Hero Klungo Sssavesss Teh World. Although he continually says that it's the greatest, it is only an 8-bit, and only involves pressing the A button to jump.
In the LOGBOX 720, Klungo is a worker again, and is still not very good.
Klungo is once again the lowly grunt in Banjoland. He does, however, create the Honeycomb Car
Klungo finally gets his big break in the Terrarium and becomes an entrepeneur, selling Floatberries.
